Gaynor has worked directly with Primary and Secondary Schools on school attendance for over 12 years. She is a former Essex County Council Education Welfare Officer and has an extensive knowledge of the Education Act and the roles and responsibilities of parents. Independent of Essex County Council, she has worked in schools for the last 6 years. This has provided her with an understanding and appreciation of the hard work undertaken by head teachers and their staff in their constant endeavour to engage and support families to achieve good levels of school
